Your big…or small day, however you see your ceremony, remember it’s your day and you can have it exactly as you like it.
I’m here to work with you lets create a ceremony which tells your story and keeps you and your guests entertained and enthralled throughout.
We don’t need the venue to be licensed, it can be indoors, outdoors (always good to keep in mind the good old British weather though) in a family home, in a castle, on a boat, in a hot air balloon, the choice is yours.
Have you thought if you’d like any family, friends or even pets to be involved? It’s a wonderful touch and a great way to include some of your favourite readings and poems.
Once you have completed your legal paperwork, you then have the freedom and choice to celebrate with the wedding ceremony you want, your way.
Renewal of Marriage or Civil Partnership Vows
Maybe you’ve both overcome some difficulties on your journey, or an illness and you want to reaffirm you’re love and commitment and embrace everything you have achieved together.
The renewal of your vows can take place as soon as 1 year, 10 years maybe even 50 years after you first make them, it’s about telling the story of you, no matter how long you’ve been together.
You might like a similar ceremony to the original marriage but to include children or grandchildren and new friends and family that have come into your life along the way.
Couples often like to include readings and poems that they had at their original ceremony, and sometimes rededicate their rings to each other.
You can choose if you would like to say the same vows that you have made or make new ones. Often, if you weren’t given the freedom to choose the vows that were made, this is a wonderful opportunity to write your own.
A renewal of vows ceremony really can be whatever you want it to be. A big wedding ceremony or an intimate and relaxed celebration with family and friends. Whatever it is you would like, I’m here to help guide you through it, with plenty of suggestions if you need them and to listen and create your vision.
Celebrate your love and commitment to each other without any of the legalities.
Having a ceremony, acknowledging your love in front of friends and family, making vows and promises even giving rings is such a huge and significate declaration to each other.
As it is not a legally binding ceremony, there are no constraints on the location, the venue does not need to be licensed, it can be indoors, outdoors (always good to keep in mind the good old British weather though) in a family home, a castle, on a boat, in a hot air balloon, the choice is yours.
It can follow the same structure as a wedding ceremony or be something else, completely individual.
With no limitations on content, we can follow usual traditions, include different religious elements, readings, music, even performances…did I mention I’m a trained circus performer?!
You really are not bound by convention and have the freedom to plan a ceremony that puts your commitment to each other at the forefront.
A symbolic ritual which is woven into your ceremony.
It can be as simple and traditional as giving rings or lighting a unity candle, to planting trees and pouring sand.
Handfasting is becoming more and more popular and is a beautiful especially in an outdoor or woodland ceremony.
Because we are not restricted by what religious elements we can incorporate into your ceremony, it’s a wonderful opportunity to include rituals from your families different beliefs and cultures in the one ceremony.
You might have your own unique family ritual which has over time become your heritage, let me know and we’ll integrate it into your ceremony.
